Heat Wave!

It was 80 today and everyone is getting a bit crazy around here. It does not look like anyone is working. The parks are full of people by day and the pubs are full into the night. Well, actually they are overflowing onto the streets. The Evening Standard tonight called the weather a heat wave and warned parents to keep kids away from open windows as three toddlers in the city had fallen from windows yesterday.

We all split up and went our separate ways today. Rhonda and I went to the National Gallery. They have a great collection that includes Van Gogh's chair and two Rembrandt self portraits. The museum was crowded with groups of school children in their uniforms.

We walked to Fitzroy Square and Regents Park and watched the people enjoying the sun.

We met my cousin Ginny's son Dan Strieff for dinner tonight. He took us out in Islington and we had a great dinner. And we ended up on a canal on a beautiful night in the city.

You're plants are doing great! You're artichoke has an artichoke I noticed. :) Been hot here while you've been away, but I'm keeping the plants hydrated.
    Travel on! Enjoy.
